Balloon Boy Really Attic Boy – Working on Movie Deal!

Balloon Boy really Attic Boy!
If you were anywhere near twitter or a TV yesterday afternoon, you heard about young Falcon Heene, the boy who everyone was led to believe was floating above the earth in an experimental balloon his father was making.
You also heard how young Falcon was later discovered (after the balloon had landed mind you) to be hiding in the attic above their garage and not in said balloon.
This story captured the twitterverse and the facebook world as people updated their statuses with links to live video, news articles and jokes about the boy in the balloon. It went on for a while as the air above Denver was cleared of all other aircraft to ensure his safety. After the balloon landed and it was discovered that the 6yr old wasn’t even on board, people feared the worst, worrying that he had fallen out shortly after take off.
Needless to say the whole thing was a hoax and one that the Family might have done as a publicity stunt at that as Falcon commented on CNN last night “You guys said we did this for the show.”
Was it all a stunt?

Some how it doesn’t surprise me that they would try to cut a movie deal. I don’t know what would be so interesting about it though. The boy was hiding in a box playing with his Diecast Toy Trucks. If he had been in the balloon, maybe it would have been interesting!

Why do I have a feeling this is going to happen. Its like it was all planned from the beginning by some PR firm. They will get a book deal, a movie deal, a TV show and make millions. Amazing, simply amazing.

What I found retarded about the whole thing was that a balloon that small could never lift a boy, and someone should have known that. Laws of physics, people! Simple volume of balloon vs. weight = boy not inside.

Well it certainly did capture the world’s imagination whether it was a stunt or not.
