Woman Goes for Leg Operation, Gets New Anus Instead

Surgery mixups at hospitals are not uncommon. The wrong chart accidently goes with the wrong patient, wrong room assignment, the list goes on. Hospitals do the best they can to prevent this sort of thing from happening, but like everything else it is not possible to be 100% all the time.

The woman in this story had gone in for an operation on her leg. Instead she came out with a new anus. She is planning on sueing the hospital and is currently looking for another hospital to perform the still needed leg operation. I have no problem with her sueing the hospital, but the article does not say for how much. If it is for more then the cost of lawyer fees and twice the cost of the leg operation then I have a problem with that. Why twice the cost? becuase she had to have it twice. Why not more then that? Well how does she know that the new anus is not better then the old one? Did she ever really get a good look at it?

Sure alot of people walk arround with their heads up their asses, but is awfully dark in there so even if she was one of those people she probably did not get that great of a look at it. Besides this one is all shiny and new with no heavy build up, yet. She is retired after all, so her old one has probably seen alot of service. I am talking about exit, not entrance, service. Just reminded me of a South Park episode where Cartman’s mom was in a, well let’s just say a german video.
