Just because you drop, it doesn’t mean I will. I will try to check your site out, and if I like it I will drop. If I don’t like I won’t drop. Don’t take it personally, it may just be that I am not that interested in the topic, although some will undoubtedly be personal.

I started out on entrecard trying to increase my worth and drop as many cards as I could. But like so many other things it became to much work and not enough payoff. People would come and drop their card for the sake of dropping and returning a drop, not because they genuinely liked the site. I have decided that I would much rather build a solid base of people that like the site, comment frequently, and visit regularly then a bunch of people that don’t. At the time of this writing there are no paid advertisements, so I am not really trying to make money. Sure eventually there will likely be some ads incorporated as I grow and mature Retarded Sushi, but I do not really expect to make my millions here.

So what incentive is there for you to drop? Well I might just decide to take a look at your site and I might just like it. If that is the case then I will most likely visit regularly, comment frequently, and drop when I stop by. But do not expect me to return the drop just because you dropped on me. And I fully don’t expect you to drop on me unless you like the site and want to.
