Even news organizations can get it wrong sometimes…
Uncategorized| February 5th, 2008First let me appologize for not doing the first “Sunday Stream” this past Sunday. It was after all the Superbowl and while I am not a huge fan of football, I do enjoy the ads. And besides I spent 1.5 hrs waiting for my brother and sister in-law, who was my sister in-law before they were even married (figure that one out and I may give you a cookie, but don’t count on it)to show up to a restraunt for lunch. By the time they got there the other couple and my wife and I had already eaten an appetizer, order our meals, eaten, and paid. But to be polite we sat and waited while they ate. Perhaps they should be polite and show up on time. And if they read this post, I understand you may be delayed on occasion, 1.5hrs gets you fired. The rest of the evening was enjoyable, but it went rather late. So no Sunday stream. Anyways, on to the actual post…
So nurses in China finally have their own bill of rights. What is so odd about that? Nothing, in fact I think it is great. I know my wife could certainly benefit from something similar. So why was it categorized by Reuter’s as “Odd”? Beats the hell out of me. Nothing funny in the article, except the little anectdote at the end about some crazy women trying to sue the nurses for killing their father who was dying from cancer. How did these nurses kill the crazy women’s father you ask? They changed the bed sheets. I hate when that happens to me. I would rather wallow in my own filth and the collection of super staph bugs embedded in the sheets then to get new clean ones. And you know I also prefer to piss in bed since I can’t get to the bathroom that easily, as I am dying of cancer. But beyond that the article was not odd. I suppose it just chafes me that they posted an article that is about a serious matter under the odd category just because of a small part of the article. Perhaps they should have just had a seperate article about they crazy ladies and been more serious about the nursing issues.

Nothing messes up a good bed sore like getting all jostled around from a sheet changing.

All I know is that I am going to keep an eye out for anyone that wants to change my sheets…And then kill them before they get me.
